• How many years are the agreements in place for?

The standard agreement term mirrors the lifespan that the solar panels produce at least 90% of output at time of installation - 25 years. Any system components requiring replacement during the lifetime of the agreement are done so at SEED’s cost.

  • What is the kwh price charged by SEED?

This is dependent on purchase, install and maintenance costs incurred by SEED. Currently the price we can offer is around 20p per kwh.

  • What happens at the end of the agreement term?

Your organisation is able to continue to use the electricity produced beyond the expiration date of the PPA under the same terms.

  • What happens if I wish to end the agreement?

For a small extra cost per kwh, it is possible to include the option for you to terminate the agreement at the end of Year 9.
